so, youve found this awsome picture doing a google image search. congratulations, now all you have to do is ruin the picture of some damn anime character that otherwise could have been a pretty cool piece of art. first off, in order to completley ruin it, you need to put some big blocky buttons on it. we cant waste our time with trying to inegrate the buttons with the picture, we have to get the pic out to whe world so all can see! now that youve shown your leet photoshop skillz lets put it in the 'generated' catagory. now whenever anyone wants to ind a skin worth having they have to rifle through all your bullshit anime character crap skins.

ok, youve graduated from putting pictures on your skins. awsome! youve realized that it looks like shit so youve decided to actually sit down and make your skin look all cool. but first things first, now that you dont put a picture on there, what do you do with all that empty space? i know, FILL IT!!! YAY!!!!! fill it with so much crap that no one can possibly find any of the buttons, throw some crazy font on there; why not?!?! you can read it, right?

i know that there are a shit ton of awsome skinners out there and i dont mean to tread on your turf.  for all the 'skinners out there that just throw shit together, give it up! if you KNOW your skin is crap, dont publish it! quit putting pictures on winamp! we need as many awsome skins as we can get ahold of. i know that there are a ton of people that are addicted to skins and skinning, im one of them. now im not saying that im the best or even one of the best but id like to think i can hold my own.

heres the key to a perfect winamp skin: form AND function. if it looks cool but cant use it, what the fuck is the point?
